The hit British drama Indian Summers is set to air on PBS this fall, following the great success of the Downton Abbey. With interest in this vibrant and colorful destination set to peak, Los Angeles based Railbookers, specializing in custom made rail vacations, are one of the first to create a journey inspired by the show.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Božo Cerar (tsuh-RAR) presented his credentials as Republic of Slovenia’s Ambassador to the U.S. at the White House on September 17, 2013. He comes from a rich background of active diplomacy beginning in the early 90’s with the breakup of Yugoslavia and a series of wars that saw ethnic cleansing and genocide return to Europe.

In 2009, Costa Rica was named the happiest country in the world by Britain’s New Economics Foundation, and it remains a top tourist attraction. Visitors to this lovely country of 4.6 million say the accolade is well deserved and a reflection of its “warm, friendly people.” A politically stable country, with a sizeable foreign exchange and no army, it still is not utopia.
