Kreuzchor Celebrating 800 years

The Dresdner Kreuzchor is the boys' choir of the Kreuzkirche in Dresden. It has a seven century history. Today the choir has about 150 members from the age of 9-19 from Dresden and the surrounding region.

  • August 19, 2015  “The sounds of Dresden”   Open Air Concert at the Theaterplatz  Joint concert with the Dresden Philharmonic orchestra as part of Dresden’s city fair.
  • October 3, 2016  - Celebrations for the Day of German Unity  Takes place at the Frauenkirche (Church of our Lady) and Semper Opera House  Evening concerts.
  • December 16, 2016  - “This is Advent – three choirs, three churches, one city”  Takes place at the Frauenkirche (Church of our Lady) and the Kreuzkirche.
